Pretty much everything was good. The environment and rooms are squeaky clean, very good view of the ocean (feels like paradise), magnificent pool, but best of all - the people. They have amazingly friendly staff…I could mention so many names but I’d single out Latifah (waiter), Dhaifat (waiter), Khatib (receptionist) who arranged a special package for our honeymoon, and many more of them! The food is also nice and tasty. We had nice buffets with local entertainment like acrobatic dancers, Swahili dancers and more.

Overlooking the Indian Ocean and located next to a lush forest, Essque Zalu Zanzibar- in Nungwi features a large outdoor pool and a spa. It offers direct access to the beach.

After we booked, Geoffrey contacted us on behalf of the hotel to offer activities and a free room upgrade for our group. They also put extra beds in the rooms for us as we were travelling with friends and didn't want to share double beds. Throughout our stay all the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs.

This is a fantastic place to stay at if you want to celebrate a anniversary. Fantastic Villas with a perfect beach you just can dream of, the best at Zanzibar, and it is real. Very kind, amazing and helpful personal, top service and fantastic good food. The Chefs and restaurants are world class and could easily have a Michelin star. You really feel that you are taking care of. They make sure you get the best relaxing stay and experience. Even the Manager is showing up and make sure you have the BEST stay. You just don’t want to leave… We will absolute come back.

Small and intimate. Room was great, even had Netflix. Staff was superb. Patio with plunge pool and seating was wonderful. Sea side pool was a dream. Perfect place to just get away from it all and do nothing but get spoiled and relax. Definately will return.

Each morning, we enjoyed spectacular views of the turquoise Indian Ocean from our balcony - a dream in white and blue. The culinary offerings at Eco Shic are simply sensational. The kitchen delighted us with a perfect fusion of local specialties and international dishes. Fresh seafood, exotic spices, and crisp vegetables - every meal was a feast for the senses.
