Our stay at Royal Mandarin Hotel & Resort was outstanding, thanks to each staff of the hotel for being cordial and very attentive to all the requests. I would like to thank the whole team starting from their Manager Ahmed, Guest Relations - Mariam, Siara, Kids Club - Azmaara, Event Host - Khamis & Obama, Reef walk guide - Ishaka, Restaurant Manager - Mohammed Farag, House keeping staff and each staff at the hotel who ensured that our stay and experience with all the activities in the hotel is wonderful. It was a short stay for us, we stayed in their Superior Sea view room, but it was a memorable one thanks to the whole team who always greets you with a smile and are very attentive to hear out your requests/concerns and do their best to resolve them as quickly as possible. Would definitely recommend this Hotel/stay to everyone. It is a memorable experience in terms of property location, beautiful rooms, breathtaking ocean view, private beach, good food and cordial team. Sudeshkumar K P

Everything was exceptional! Very clean, friendly staff and the place is BEAUTIFUL

We spent two weeks at TUI Blue Bahari, including Christmas and New Year and we highly recommend the resort. The service in all areas was great and all hotel personnel was customer oriented. The TUI app is useful and easy to use to reserve restaurants and activities. Speaking of activities, we were the only guests participating at the Swahili Language and Hotel Tour activities while the occupancy rate of the hotel was about 95%. I recommend getting involved while in Zanzibar. Locals appreciate so much the Swahili words/expressions learnt and discovering the hotel premises that are inaccessible to tourists and the management team was a pleasure. The administrative chief is very creative and resourceful, the laundry operation manager is very dedicated and organized and Chef Ali was great explaining us the processes and the reasons behind the very tasty and diverse food courses. I need to emphasize that the food was great every day and in all restaurants. We also liked the fact that there is no limitation to book a la carte restaurants. Chef Ali was so kind to offer some fruits and spices to takeaway. And last, I need to mention Hassan, the head of the restaurant team – he was there every day form the early morning hours until late at night, always watching every detail. We felt great at TUI and we would gladly chose it again: the rooms are clean and spacious, the beach and the views are spectacular, the personnel is great and makes you feel simply hakuna matata.

the hotel is just amazing everything was great, a lot of privacy. facilities are amazing nice pool with beach view the food was great and the staff very professional staff was very helpful and very proactive in all the request the restaurant offer a variety of food at decent price a la carte or set menu including in half board or full board. simply amazing and nice

This place is as beautiful as the pictures. The staff is very warm/ friendly and very welcoming. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast selection was good. The hotel is at the beach front so u wake up to sea views ( sea facing rooms) and could take morning / early evening walks🌅. You can book your activities through the hotel. Most importantly the hotel is family friendly as well. Sea food platter was delicious 🤩

We had a fantastic 10-day family holiday. The hotel's location is right on the beach, which is cleaned every morning. At this time of year, there was some seaweed, but not too much. The hotel's territory is very green, featuring a few turtles and parrots in the yard and cages, as well as many large wild lizards (guru-guru) roaming around. The kids were amazed. We had two separate rooms. One was very large in a bungalow with two apartments next to the beach and the sea-water pool. The second was also well-sized, about 100 meters from the beach. We enjoyed all three restaurants. Each is worth trying, but the African one was a very pleasant surprise for everyone, including the kids. More than anything, I would praise the staff. They are all very kind and friendly, always trying to help and doing their best for the clients. Thank you all for the incredible memories: the reception team, client manager Angela, and Zabron, the big boss of the main restaurant! We celebrated our son's 7th birthday, and in addition to the famous "Jambo Bwana Hakuna Matata - Happy Birthday" song and the cake, which everyone gets from the restaurant team, we were allowed to use the romantic beach boat as a private venue. It was beautifully decorated and reserved just for us. This was the best child's birthday celebration out of all 40 attempts so far. Local people on the beach can generally be trusted, at least for booking reef excursions with a small booking fee. From our experience, the price should not exceed $10 per person or $30 per boat. I recommend bargaining for everything, as a price reduction of about 50% can usually be achieved. Every person on the beach will try to sell excursions and taxi services, which can be annoying, but also useful if you plan to travel somewhere. Usually, it is cheaper to book with one of them and then negotiate with the same person or driver for the rest.

We stayed here in May (out of season) what was really nice because no tourists:-) small houses has everything what you need with really nice design. we can definitely recommend tuna tartare, chicken masala and breakfast - pizza need to be improve but general in Zanzibar.

A really nice hotel with beautiful beach. The hotel has always activities, but they organize you as well everything very flexibel. The Hotel size is smaller than some neighboring hotels, but has a large garden, two pools, so you never feel it crowded, it has a very familiar atmosphere. The staff is amaizing! They are not only polite and friendly, but they come to you also to have company if they see that you are alone, or only to chat, or play table tennis. Herieth was also very helpful, and cared a lot about the guests, and always made sure they felt good.

Bluebay Beach is a lovely resort with a nice beach front. The meals were very good with a large variety of dishes. During dinner and afterwards there are shows and music for entertainment. All in all a great stay. Just a note if you have problems walking up the stairs - ask for one of the bungalows close to the main building, as some buildings are really up high (with a beautiful view though). Highlight was the Aqua fitness and the coconut demonstrations. We learned a lot!
