The customer service was outstanding: genuine, care and thoughtful. The rooftop bar is a must; drinks are amazing! Bed is big and comfortable, best pillows I have found in Vietnam. Location is excellent, you have everything within walking distance.

Really good location, very attentive staff and an awesome breakfast. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed, it was also very well insulated from noise. There was a fantastic rooftop bar with lovely views. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Saigon.

As a frequent guest of the excellent Grand Hotel du Lac in Hanoi, I very much looked forward to my stay here - and wow, did they outdo themselves at their new hotel in Ho Chi Minh City!!! This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The service is just as top notch as in Hanoi - so attentive, so kind, and so much from the heart. The decor, however, is really one of a kind - it blends historic and modern touches to develop its very own style. The hotel is so beautiful that it becomes a piece of art very much worth a visit. Rooms are really comfortable - great bedding and many thoughtful little details. The breakfast also outdoes the amazing Hanoi original by expanding the incredible range of tasty options even further, both in the buffet and the a la carte hot dishes. Coffee is fantastic, too. The location is equally perfect, next to the new subway and close to many Michelin recommended restaurants and top end stores. The Grand Hotel du Lac certainly is my favourite hotel in Vietnam!
