The rooms we got were huge and gorgeous. I don’t believe I’ve every had such a big room…. And I’ve travelled a lot. The staff: special mention to Tracy Trang who is a superstar on the front desk. She arranged motorbikes for us, advised us on the trips we did and the order in which we should take them etc. Unusual for a hotel: Tracy organised the motorbikes and we paid directly at the rental shop. Saving us top ups from the hotel. What stands out: we forgot 1 shirt. Tracy went out of her way to ensure it was send to one of our next hotel’s on our trip. We insisted to pay the cost ….. of VND 17.000 = €0,56….

The villa was so spacious. And the bath with view - amazing! We also celebrated our 30th anniversary and Jiva Hoa Lu made it special. The reception staff, with special mention of Dan and Mike, was super helpful and friendly and could all speak a good English. We booked spa treatments and it was so good that we booked for the next day as well. Language barrier during breakfast was challenging, but the last morning ,Gang/Kang, made us feel welcome. The retreat wasn't too busy, so we loved having the pool to ourselves early morning after a 10km run. There was also a service to drop us off and collect again in the evening if we wanted to go to town. Alternatively we used the bicycles if we just wanted to ride around. I think that it is quite challenging to maintain the big and beautiful gardens, but they were working at it every day. We really enjoyed our stay.
