Our stay at Hotel Colombo was excellent. There are so many great reasons to stay here.
Our room was amazing. The beds were so comfortable. There is heating and air con. great curtains for sleeping in! Great TV channels, showing loads of English speaking films to get lost in while relaxing. The bathroom was lovely - all marble with a great shower.
The rooms and the whole hotel was so clean. absolutely spotless!
The SPA is great. Sauna, hot tub, salt relaxation room, steam room, swimming pool and a full list of treatments.
The restaurant part was great. AMAZING breakfasts with a good selection of foods to choose from(cheese, eggs, meats, fruits, cereals, cakes, juices and gluten free alternatives). The chef made us the most wonderful omelettes. The coffee was delicious too!
The building itself is opulent and beautiful! Wide corridors, beautifully carpeted, chandeliers, marble. It used to be the university and it looks like the White House with columns and a dome. We were able to walk up there and view berat!
Now here is the best bit. The staff!!! Everyone was so friendly and kind and accommodating. I am a light sleeper and needed a quieter room and we were offered 2 lovely rooms straight away. Everyone is so happy to help us. The restaurant staff, the reception staff, the housekeeping staff. THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL FOUR DAYS!!!

The hotel and our room were stunning! The design is sleek, modern and luxurious. Every detail had been well thought out and the room and bathroom were so spacious. The service from the staff was amazing. Rudence helped us during our stay and made it a 5 star experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great food and wine! When we visited a wine tasting of 3 small glasses and a Raki were included in the price (this came with some complementary cheese/meat/salad). A tour of the vineyard was also included but apparently this happens at 18:00 so we didn't make it. We had mixed mezze and roast chicken for dinner which all tasted superb. The breakfast was great and plentiful! The whole place is decked out in wood with nice carving details in the rooms and feels very luxurious. Staff were very helpful and we had a lovely stay.

Staying at Te Gjyshi ("At grandpa's") was more than pleasure. An astonishing view from the balcony and the roof terrace of the restaurant, where you can eat really tasty breakfast, and a very clean and cosy room. The castle and old town is right next to the hotel, perfect for walks during the day and the evening, when you can admire the great view of the town from above, all made the experience absolutely amazing and deserving of a 5 star review. People working here are doing a really great job, thank You Gerald!

Very nice hosts and amazing old house!Nice view from the dorm 🥰 Excellent location in the heart of Gorica quarter that is part of UNESCO. Delicious breakfast, super comfy beds & warm rooms. The cleanliness deserves 5 stars. The house has also small nice terrace. I felt in love with this hostel.

It was centrally located in beautiful Berat, our room had a small balcony with a view over this marvellous city. Above all though was David, our host. He was so helpful, knowledgeable and so genuinely friendly, 5 stars for this young man

What a fantastic stay in Berat at Hotel Mangalemi- the room we stayed in was superb, the staff were both professional, friendly, super welcoming and informative, whilst the meal we had for dinner at the onsite restaurant was exceptional. It was also an excellent location with the fort literally just up the road! Whilst we only stayed for one night we wish it could have been more and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Berat for a short or long stay. Five stars all the way!
