The Writers House is an extraordinary place and extraordinary architecture. Its not a luxurious hotel, but a basic accomodation with great bonuses: the building in style of Soviet modernism, breathtaking views from both the rooms and the dining room, own path to the monastery and last but not least the lovely and helpful staff. I really enjoyed my stay, my room was renovated and clean and food was tasty. Thank You!

Reception staff Anne very efficient, polite, welcoming and attentive. Room of very comfortable size with a balcony. Loved the tranquility of the place, despite a restaurant on the ground floor. Breakfast was out of this world. Amazing selection of cheeses, cooked eggs with tomatoes (traditional dish), pies, souces, sweets and fruits. The chef is of the owners. Been waited by Artur & David who gave us all the attention and care they could. A huge thanks to them and congrats to the chef.

Superb room, warm although it was freezing cold outside, private garage with direct access to the room (very useful in winter), well located close to the lake, very friendly hosts

A very quiet house hotel with a very beautiful garden and balcony. From the balcony you can see Lake Sevan. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend to take your meals here. We had local fish and it was superb. They served us homemade vodka which was gorgeous.

The location was unreal! Right on the water with amazing views. The restaurant serves fresh fish and vegetables and were cooked to perfection. The staff were lovely and the area was great.

Very spacious room, very comfortable bed, The decoration of the house is very warm and relaxing. The bed is really really comfortable like five star hotel. All the facilities work really well. If you are looking for some accommodation near the Sevan lake, This house will worth every cent you paid for.
