We discovered this hotel and its location completely by chance — and it turned out to be an absolute gem. The entire setting is beautifully designed, with attention paid to every detail. Although the hotel is quite spacious, the way it’s laid out gives it a cozy, almost boutique feel. The wellness area is truly exceptional. We especially appreciated the textile-free zone and were pleasantly surprised by how respectfully other guests behaved — it created a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and professional, and the facilities cater equally well to those seeking an active holiday or pure relaxation. We loved that you can borrow bikes, trekking poles, and backpacks — we took advantage of the bike rental and everything was in perfect condition and super easy to arrange. All in all, this is genuinely one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at — and we travel a lot. Highly recommended!

Don’t miss the half board that included a 5-course dinner (amazing dishes and great service). Restaurant Staff were very nice and helped to celebrate our daughter’s birthday (thank a lot). Good for 3-4 day stay (hitching, biking, free tickets from hotel to take the gondola, rafting “desk made the booking for us”, nice swimming pool..).

Located in the centre of Alpbach, Der Böglerhof - pure nature spa resort offers traditionally wooden furnished rooms. Excellent base for me to do some driving on the Grossglockner pass. Superb room (upgraded for free!) wonderful attentive staff and excellent food an drinks.

This modern 5-star hotel in the centre of Sölden is located right next to the new Zentrum-Shuttle Cable Car. It features a 2,200 m² rooftop spa area with an outdoor pool. Most of the time the food was very good to excellent, but on some days there was room for improvement. I am being over-critical here.
