Select rooms offer a spa bath. Rooms can only be accessed via stairs. Loved the very thoughtfully appointed room. It set the bar high for the continuation of our travels. Breakfast was fabulous and parking worked for us too.

Loved the cosy cabin, had all we needed for our 1 night stay, fabulous views and a great location for the ferry port. Would recommend.

The Fairmont Empress Hotel’s elegantly decorated rooms offer a plush seating area and windows that open out. Each is equipped with cable TV and an in-room coffee maker. Fantastic pool and a small gym, but one that's open 24/7, and the pool and hot tub are open until 1am. Very kind and helpful staff. Room service available 24/7 as well which is almost surprising to find these days. Very comfortable and clean rooms and Le Labo products were greatly appreciated.

Offering a restaurant, the property is located within 47 km of Nanaimo Bastion. Certain units at the property feature a balcony with a sea view. Modernised old historical building that oozed charm. Individual rooms and service was excellent. It was quiet and overlooked the golf course. Walking distance to Qualicum Beach shops, town facilities and beach. Lovely preserved forest backed onto the rear of the property with 500 year old trees. Plenty of parking.
