The hotel has an amazing location, in the middle of the mountains, located closely to the Middle Gate of the national park. Rooms are wonderful and so is the pool, which gives you the ultimate holiday vibes. The staff is incredibly friendly and immediately welcome you like a friend. I’d definitely recommend to anyone who’s planning to go to Zhangjiajie!

My stay at this hotel was an incredible experience — if there were a better word than "incredible," I would definitely use it. The hotel manager, Mr. Jack, was a very respectful and polite man. Throughout our stay, he was attentive, and whenever we had an issue, he resolved it promptly. He even sent a gift to our room and made sure we were in complete comfort at all times. The room was very spacious, clean, and equipped with everything one might need. From the window, there was a stunning view of the city and its towers. The room temperature was perfect. The breakfast was excellent, varied, and of high quality, mainly consisting of delicious Chinese cuisine. The hotel was in a fantastic location in the city center, with easy access to the metro, which was less than a 10-minute walk away. This made getting to tourist attractions very convenient. The hotel was also easily reachable from the train station by metro. The management provided us with very detailed and precise directions on how to reach the hotel from the station. The hotel staff were very kind and professional. I am truly grateful to the entire hotel team, especially Mr. Jack, for making our stay so memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I will definitely return on my future visits. Don’t forget that Changsha is a dreamy city, and you should never miss seeing Orange Island at night.

The FengHuang Kasen Waterloom Keep's grounds are lovely and breakfast was fantastic. The real standout was their service: arranged a hotel car to collect us from the station and provided dedicated transfers to the local sights. Staff called right after booking to organise our travel and even helped plan our itinerary - extremely professional and helpful. Proper job, highly recommend!

Wouldn't hesitate to return. Jolly good all round.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for both comfort and a perfect location. The property is situated right next to the entrance of the Zhangjiajie park, which makes exploring incredibly convenient. At the same time, it is tucked away in a quiet, scenic area surrounded by breathtaking mountains. It feels like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of the city — peaceful, relaxing, and immersed in nature. Breakfasts deserve a special mention. They are not only delicious but also very generous in size — honestly, I could easily split them into two meals. Everything was fresh and nicely presented, which made mornings an absolute pleasure. The staff is another highlight of this hotel. Everyone we met was polite, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. And I have to give a HUGE thank you to Winnie. She was our hero during the entire trip — patiently answering all our endless questions, helping us plan routes, and even staying available 24/7 when we needed advice. She even provided us with beautifully designed maps that were so clear and detailed, other travelers asked us where we had gotten them. With Winnie’s support, we never felt lost or uncomfortable for even a moment. The rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. After a long day of exploring, it was a joy to return to such a calm and well-kept space. I also appreciated the little touches — from thoughtful amenities to the warm hospitality that made the hotel feel more personal than many larger, chain properties. If you’re looking for a place that combines excellent service, stunning surroundings, and true relaxation, this hotel is the perfect choice. I left with only the best impressions and would love to come back again.
