Everything is clean, great atmosphere,amazing food, beautiful decorations, great Staff. Very friendly . The beach is clean and beautiful , great sunsets. It is easy to mingle around without getting lost inside the hotel. I didn’t use the spa which seem amazing but I am definitely coming back and that will be one of the things I won’t miss. 🥰

Activities for children are organised.... It has everything in one place. The staff is wonderful and very customer oriented. The nights are super fun full with entertainment and the days are full with activities for everyone.

El Santuario was the perfect home base for exploring Minca! Nora and José Luis have obviously put a lot of love into their hotel- they were exceptionally kind and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. We split three rooms between 5 friends, which was totally comfortable for us. We started every morning taking in the stunning views while enjoying a delicious home cooked breakfast- the birdwatching is unparalleled to any place I’ve visited before! It’s a quick 10 minute drive to the center of Minca- we had a car, but the hotel will happily arrange a mototaxi for you, which I took advantage of as i chose to stay an extra night after my travel mates departed. We ended our evenings using the ample common areas to sip tequila and reflect on our adventures. The evenings were cool enough that we wouldn’t have used a/c even if it was available. Of course there are some bugs, but what else would you expect staying in a rustic town in the middle of the jungle?? Other reviewers noting this as a con are obviously unused to accommodations that strive to be as ecologically mindful as possible to their natural environments. Mỗi phòng tại khách sạn 5 sao này đều nhìn ra biển, đồng thời khách có thể sử dụng bể sục. the staff was extremely serviceable and helpful, we really felt looked after. this is the ultimate place to relax and unwind. the breakfast was nice and we did enjoy the cocktails! the rooms are absolutely beautiful with amazing views, we couldnt get enough!

We stayed at Cayena by Masaya after visiting Tayrona Park, and it was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The staff were all incredibly friendly and professional, from the reception to the restaurant team. The hotel has only a few rooms, which made it feel peaceful and never crowded—we always found a great spot to lounge by the beautiful, large pool (perfect for a proper swim). There’s also a covered area with yoga equipment, and we loved starting the day with a beach-front workout. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a super comfy bed, working AC, hot water, and complimentary refillable drinking water. The restaurant was a highlight—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious, and the à la carte prices were very reasonable, so we were happy to eat at the hotel. There are beds on the beach, but we mostly stayed by the pool since the ocean had big waves and a small sandy area during our visit (great for surfers, though). Overall, we had a perfect stay and would absolutely recommend Cayena for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, relaxing setting.

We stayed here for about 10 days and used it as a base for diving, remote working, national parks (all dive centers are within a 10-minute walk). The town center is close (with good restaurants for such a small town), making it a great location overall. Laura (and her mom) were super attentive throughout our stay. She always made sure we were comfortable and helped us organize taxis to places like Minca and Tayrona at good prices. The breakfast was extraordinary — with quite a lot of variety. On most evenings, there’s also a chef cooking dinner on the property, and the food was also excellent. Our room was big and comfortable, with a small fold-out table that worked well for a bit of remote work. The bed was large and comfy, AC worked perfectly, and room service was good. Great value for money overall. Would definitely come back! :-)

Placita Vieja Hotel Boutique Spa is located at Parque de Los Novios next to the restaurants and bars in the Historic Center of Santa Marta, 200m from the beach. I highly recommend this hotel Amazing service . All with smile woth exceptional attitude . Great breakfast and incredible location I will return to thos hotel over and over again
