The grounds of the property are absolutely lovely. There is a nice pool area to relax. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff are attentive and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious and freshly prepared. I had a massage at the hotel which was amazing.

You are in the epicentre of the city- better location than the Intercontinental hotel. The Faranda is only 5 years old and has a Turkish bath and two jacuzzi’s on the rooftop with city panorama views. Juan, the day reception gave us welcome drink vouchers. The area is protected by teams of private security paid for by the Alcalderia/Mayor of Cali so everyone is more than safe. Heat value, top location ( only 4 blocks from Calle de Sabor from where the live street salsa happens). We return to the hotel 5-7 July.The architecture of the hotel is indoor/ outdoor- not the traditional hallways. Simply amazing stay for $69US a night in this 50 room hotel.
