The staff made our stay unforgettable: yoga with Dominique was great — she’s super kind, attentive, and always there if you need anything. Christian gave us great tips on places to visit, and Juanca gave us such a warm welcome. Highly recommended!

La Flor de Coco có hồ bơi ngoài trời, khu vườn, phòng chờ chung và nhà hàng ở Sámara. This was a great place to stay! We loved the open shared areas and the pool. The rooms were clean and tidy. We thought the people running the place were so kind and helpful, really made sure that we felt welcome. It’s about a 5-10 min walk into town but also there are shops and cafes closer. The little restaurant attached was gorgeous as well.

Located right on Playa Hermosa Beach, this boutique hotel offers an outdoor pool and hot tub, tropical gardens and a gourmet restaurant. Beautiful spot right on the beach with an open air restaurant and bar. Grounds were lush. Beach had very few people each day. The staff were incredibly friendly. Johnathan was so kind to our children at dinner and encouraged them to speak Spanish. Alexis greeted us every morning at breakfast and shared about their culture. Roy arranged some great tours for us. Jairo was the most kind and attentive person.

We stayed at Destino for one night and really liked it! The place is surrounded by nature, and on a clear, sunny day, you can see three volcanoes. One of the coolest features of the rooms is that one of the walls is made of natural rock, giving you the feeling of being in a cave - yet everything is modern and well-built. The hosts were very welcoming too. Liz sent us lots of great recommendations for things to do in the area. You can also enjoy an outdoor bath with hot thermal water that comes straight from the ground. The highlight of the property is the cold river, which you can reach within a few minutes. In the Costa Rican heat, swimming in that fresh, flowing water was absolutely amazing. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and quiet, while still staying in a comfortable and thoughtfully designed house.
