Staff was really friendly at all times, rooms are decorated with very good taste. Our room also had some comfy chairs in front of the room, so you could chill outside in the evenings. Tasty breakfast and cocktails. Overall, it's a really beautiful place to stay at!

The black sand beach is a 5 minute walk and there are restuarants within walking distance. The hotel is quiet and just far enough away from the busy part of Puerto Viejo.

This place is an exceptional and unique experience. The staff is highly professional and hospitable, the area is insanely beautiful. There is only one restaurant which I expected to be mediocre because of the lack of competition. Oh how wrong I was. All the food was gourmet and of exceptional quality, price wise it wasn’t cheap, but it was great value for what you get.

Look no further, book this place - we had the best stay! Firstly, it is the best location, short drive to Puerto Viejo but also walking distance of plenty of great restaurants and supermarkets nearby, you can even walk to the Jaguar Rescue. It feels like you're right in the jungle, the landscaping around the hotel is done so well, with the boardwalks through the trees, so all rooms feel really private and quiet and there is wildlife including sloths right amongst the trees in the hotel! Breakfast was great, and in the best spot looking right at the beach. The pools were lovely (we found three during our stay) and all the beach loungers etc. Staff were all really friendly and helpful and nice. DO NOT MISS the morning wildlife walk with the Jungle Man!! We saw eleven sloths in one hour as well as toucans, monkeys and much more! That guy is a legend.
