Waking up to the breathtaking vistas from our terrace each morning was simply unforgettable. To top it all off, we even had the incredible experience of sharing breakfast with some curious monkeys. Hotel Belmar truly exceeded all expectations and made our time in Monteverde unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

We had a fabulous stay at Gaia for my partners birthday at the end of our stay in Costa Rica. The food was a particular highlight, we had the Mahi Mahi and the tuna steak, both delicious. breakfast was also perfect. special mention to staff Nelson in the restaurant and concierge Carlos. Also the owner Boris said hello at breakfast and was so kind and welcoming. we had a great time at the pool and ordered drinks and nachos and all staff so helpful bringing towels and asking if we needed anything. Overall a fantastic stay.

Our room was spectacular! We had a view of the sunset every night and went to sleep with the screen door open to peaceful sounds of the forest. We saw lots of wildlife on the property including coatis, agoutis, and many birds including a Crested Guan and a Montezuma Oropendolo in the tree right by our porch! The restaurant was delicious and all of the hotel staff were amazing. They helped us book a ziplining tour and a birdwatching tour with a private guide where we saw the famous quetzal. It was pure heaven.
