Just a 3-minute drive from scenic Lake Tegernsee, this hotel in the Bavarian town of Rottach-Egern offers elegant rooms, gourmet food and a spa with large swimming pool. Big hotel that never seems to be big, thanks to a brilliant layout. Excellent staff, the service level is really high. Good bed, shower, room. Great Spa and Pool area. The separate family spa is brilliant, it keeps the adult only spa quiet but is not lacking in its offering. Probably the best breakfast buffet and à la carte we have had. Dinner at the hotel was really good as well.

The chalets are high spec - modern, clean, spacious. The surrounding area is lovely. All staff were really helpful and welcoming. The breakfast/dinner delivery service is a great idea - the food was excellent. The chalets have a private hot tub & sauna, and also the shared outdoor pool is heated, which meant we could enjoy it despite some rainy weather!

This 5-star hotel is located in the town of Aschau, just a few minutes’ walk from the Prien river, boasting wonderful views of the mountains from many of the rooms. A beautiful hotel, lavish decoration, large well appointed room, great views. Some lovely art to enjoy, I particually liked the animal sculptures made from cutlery. Very nice staff, friendly and helpful-the manager told me to put my bike in the staff garage for safety. Impressive resturant, limited menue. The spa is bigger than I expected-it includes a cold pool-great after a sauna. Parking is directly outside the hotel. Recommended.
