The Fontenay Hamburg is a 5-star hotel situated on the shore of the Alster Lake in Hamburg, within walking distance of the famous shopping area at Jungfernstieg. The personnel from the receptionists, waiters, staff are all friendly and accomodating. The room was big and comfortable with a beautiful view of the Elbe. I asked them to decorate the room because it was my boyfriend's birthday and they did so. My boyfriend was so happy with the surprise. We even had a complimentary bday cake. Thank you so much.
