Hotel Royal, five-star hotel in Aarhus

This luxury hotel is set in an elegant, Neoclassical building built in 1838. It offers a casino. ARoS Art Museum is 15 minutes’ walk away.

Hotel Royal’s impressive interior features stained glass windows, 300 art pieces and glass chandeliers. All rooms have antique furniture, a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee facilities. Really beautiful hotel and increadibly friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is right next to the dome so you are in the city center and also in 5 min walking distance of the port. A really big supermarket is also only 6 min away. The whole interior is really cosy and unique and they have a cool historical elevator. You do feel a bit like royalty staying there ;)

    It is a big apartment. Light and modern. In the middle of the countryside. Cows and chicken in sight from the windows. Parking next to the door. The hostes, kind as a mother.

    Apart from the view, they had my heart with the soap / shampoo / shower gel that smell so nice. And - very very clean towels, it's been a while since I saw towels this clean even in 5 star chain hotels tbh. This area is so modern and amazing - will definitely come back here!

    Small hostel, interesting concept with the glass fronts for each apartment. The entire housing is directed towards the bay, with a nice view over the sea. Room was sufficiently furnished, beds were comfortable, shower was good. Breakfast was excellent, the breakfast room has an incredible view towards the bay. Not a 5-star-hotel, but I enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back!
