Hotel Medina Del Lago offers 5-star accommodation with an indoor pool and children's playground. Amazing service and view.. Wonderful staff. Nice breakfast. Morning hike and evening bonfire were great activities. The hotel is quite away up a long hill so you would need a taxi into town. Great indoor pool and sauna. Perfect for a romantic and / or relaxing getaway.

The classical suites at La Mirage Garden Hotel & Spa are decorated with antique furniture and crystal chandeliers. All have spacious seating areas with fresh cut flowers, free Wi-Fi, and cosy fireplaces. The peacock garden is such a unique experience. We loved the different areas to eat meals - breakfast in a cozy cottage building overlooking the peacock garden, and lunch and dinner in a different beautiful building overlooking the garden. The staff went above and beyond to assist us when our luggage was delayed. Each night we returned to our room to find turndown service and a fire crackling in the hearth. We stayed at 4 different accommodations during the course of our 10-day tour of Ecuador and Galapagos and this was hands down our favorite. If we find ourselves in Ecuador again in the future, we would go out of our way to stay here again.
