absolutely chilled place with amazing vibe, do not expect any luxury all is very simple but that is nice, you can stay in private small house or shared room, amazing breakfast, Cliff is doing fantastic job there and Pablo is very welcoming. Big pool, huge garden, bon fire….you can easily walk to Montanita on beach or take a taxi for 1,50$ to center.

The private beach is wonderful, it's clean, it has luxury furniture and coconut palms around, also, it's 100 m away from the sea and an integrated bar service.

Wonderful place to stay, 20 mins walk along the beach to Montanita, or $1.50 cab to town. Kamala is situated right on the beach, you can hear the waves in your hut. The rooms are simple, fan was in good condition and strong. The chef makes incredible food (especially the wraps). The staff are super friendly and welcoming and we even saw whales right outside the hostel!

The staff was super friendly, the rooms were amazing with views on the beach and garden and the overall atmosphere was just superb. We were blessed to stay at Kundalini to start our trip in Ecuador!

Centrally located Chescos might be the best low budget hotel on the entire southwest coast of Ecuador. The room was spacious enough, the shower had hot water and the staff was friendly. The A/C worked like a charm. The location was superb, right next to the beach.
