Exotic resort in the middle of the Nile on an island near the centre of Aswan. 28 acres of landscaped gardens with magnificent views of the Nile, mountains and Aswan city. The staff and customer service are amazing. From Hamdy at housekeeping to Christine the Guest Relations manager to the Bellman to the pool staff to the Maître D at the Ramses restaurant. Everyone was so welcoming and customer focused on our every need. The food was great, the pool was super relaxing and beautiful with fountain islands in the middle. The view from the room was spectacular of the Nile. The ferry off the hotel property operates 24/7 and takes about 5 minutes or so to get us to the shore. The staff are so kind.

It’s literally just two minutes from the Abu Simbel Temple — the perfect location. The property is new, beautiful, and spotless, with a stunning infinity pool overlooking the desert and Lake Nasser. Watching the sunset from their terrace is truly magical. The food is delicious and freshly made, but what really makes this place special is the people. The staff are incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. A special thank you to Asma, who greeted me so warmly at reception, organized my airport transfer, planned my morning visit to the temple, and helped with every little request. She was always available, caring, and made sure I felt completely comfortable during my first time in Egypt.

The ship has beautiful wooden decks. The interior of the rooms is a bit old-fashioned, but it's well kept and clean. Our room was very quiet. The buffet was quite good, lots of choice and good quality. You also get to taste some local food.
