This impressive palace-style building offers beautiful views over Santander Bay and El Sardinero Beach. It has a free gym and elegant, classic-style rooms with free Wi-Fi.
The bright, air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Real have satellite TV and some offer sea views. The large bathrooms come with a bathrobe and hairdryer.
We got a good deal for a night and was really special. We usually couldn't afford such a place. When we entered our room and saw the view overlooking the bay it was breathtaking.
Stunning experience.
Santillana del Mar
Residence to the ‘Marquis of Santillana’ back in the 15th century, the building has now been carefully renovated into this delightful 5-star hotel. With such an intriguing history you will feel as if you have stepped back in time but with all the comforts of the present day. This is our third time staying here. The staff is so friendly and kind and the place is one of a kind. Staying in a place that is from the 1500s is special. Enjoy it.
Suances
This typically-Cantabrian hotel is surrounded by verdant lawns, just 300 metres from the bars, restaurants and shops of Suances, on Spain’s Green Coast. Suances Beach is 250 metres away. There is a 24-hour gym and a seasonal outdoor hot tub. Exceptional breakfast, free drink on arrival, biscuits to take away on departure, really quiet room,
Torrelavega
Located in Torrelavega, 28 km from Puerto Chico, Helguera Palacio Boutique & Antique provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Featuring a terrace, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. Guests can have a drink at the bar. All of the staff including Mario, Alexandra & Gloria were more than accommodating. They made our stay so special, making memories we will never forget. They went above and beyond for us and we can't thank them enough.

Luxurious every part was poor luxury. Amazing decor and very comfortable.
Breakfast was 5 Star Laurie, the new owner renovated and furnished the house with style, personal touch and cared for the details to make us feel like VIPs
When we arrived, the staff were absolutely wonderful. Telling us exactly where we could park a vehicle .Couldn't do enough for us. before visiting you, we stopped in two big luxury hotels, one of which in barcelona . Their facilities were OK but not what I would classify 5 star or whatever stars they like to call them. Where as your facility was 5 star to me and my partner . Arrive and find slippers and bath robes provided was a nice touch and well appreciate .
The dinner menu at the restaurant was outstanding. Interesting regional dishes presented with style in generous portions. The clams and baby squid were outstanding. Breakfast was also superb, big choice of interesting options
Superb classy hotel
The location was great. The hotel is nice you feel the history of the place. But I wouldn’t say it’s a 5 stars GL. The service is not 5 stars GL. Rooms are clean, big but a bit outdated. Showers were recently renovated and very nice and comfy, really liked it. The breakfast was good. The view from our room was stunning ! This is something we really enjoyed.
The interior and garden area were lovely, the staff attentive despite being very busy with a communion, location perfect as we're walking the Camino and it was on the route, 5 stars all day long!!
Upgraded to Queen room, sea facing on the 7th floor. View of centro bodin was superb through picture window. Access and security with lift system was perfect.food in both cafe and restaurant was excellent as was value. Frankly I don’t see why it has 4 star classification when it easily matches previous 5 star restaurants I have used. Though I have regularly gone through Santander I have never stayed for more than a day. I had perceived La Bohia as an expensive hotel and hence dismissed it from mind. I was wrong. Very reasonable!
