Search five-star hotels in Argyll and Bute

This b n b was massively overpriced. The decor was old and we did not have facilities in our room apart from a washbasin. We thought the facilities would be nearby but they were through some double doors off a public staircase. They were supposed to be just for our room but we were unsure if they had been used by others. The breakfast was ok but not exceptional. In addition there was a sign outside saying 5 stars. This was a complete myth. I would have given this place 2 stars.

Absolutely fantastic stay at the Kilchrenan Inn. 5 stars, truly. The food was incredible, drinks were good and reasonably priced. Could not fault the staff, they were an absolute delight and in fact - one of the staff went over and beyond for a vulnerable person (non-guest) whom was having car trouble. They ensured the person got home okay to the hotel they were staying and helped arranging roadside service. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, beds comfortable and lovely bathrooms. Breakfast was just divine too.

We enjoyed our stay Lynn the owner was brilliant and very helpful we felt at home at once the apartment was well equipped everything you would need it was on a hill once outside there was a stunning view of the harbour we recommended Strome Beag it’s 5 stars. Lynn also bought our son a Easter present thank you Lynn.

Extremely friendly couldnt do enough to help. Stayed in 2 rooms everywhere was spotless. Would recomend. Ill be going back after feb. Best to call direct and not through booking.com or else use hotels own website. I was delighted with my stay 5 stars

Caroline, Archie and Jim were very welcoming and were a delight at breakfast. We requested an early breakfast and they were happy to accommodate. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. 5 stars!

The breakfast was second to none, beautiful fresh ingredients. So much choice for breakfast in a lovely airy dining room. The lady owner couldn’t have been more accommodating which I greatly appreciated. The room was very clean & comfortable, tea, coffee etc was available in the room. Parking was easy, and everywhere in town was within easy access from Grammer Lodge Guest House, which I would recommend to anyone who wants to visit the area. 5 Stars

Excellent hotel, 5 stars from us! Beautiful spacious and clean room, friendly staff, amazing food in the restaurant. Would definitely stay again.
