The rooms were outstanding, and what a shower - when you think you’re getting this out of a historical building, it’s really something to highlight. The Quod restaurant is the go-to spot to eat in Oxford and staff was always ready to help. One of the best places I stayed in the UK.

The Old Parsonage Hotel is a boutique hotel set in a building dating back to 1660. I booked this hotel as a surprise for my mother's birthday, and it definitely did not disappoint. They prepared some wonderful 'happy birthday' desserts for our room, and the staff was incredibly kind to help us with the suitcases and have a friendly chat about Inspector Morse.Through correspondence with the hotel, I requested a room with a bath for my mother. Upon arrival, we were assigned to a beautiful room. Unfortunately, instead of a bath, it came with a rainshower (which was still amazing). Even though everything was fully booked, the amazing staff went above and beyond to ensure my mother got her desired room with a bath, with the most beautiful view. I can not stress enough how much that meant to my mother, making her stay and 74th birthday an unforgettable experience. The location and room are undeniably idyllic and wonderful, but it is the amazing staff that is the crown jewel of the Old Parsonage Hotel. I would, therefore, gladly recommend anyone planning a visit to Oxford to stay at this charming establishment and its wholesome staff.

George street hotel offers accommodation in Oxford, a 1-minute walk from the Oxford New Theatre. The air-conditioned rooms have en suite bathrooms. Some rooms offer views of the University of Oxford. Excellent location / friendliest and most helpful. Comfortable solo inside room which kept things nice and quiet.
