Breakfast - our kippers and poached eggs were spot on plus yum veggie option. Julie and Clive were five stars hosts. For us Poppy House was friendly, full of charm and perfectly placed - stones throw from Three Tons Brewery and Castle Hotel with its fabulous garden and views. Bishops Castle is a real gem, seriously soothing in an outstandingly beautiful part of the country.

Lovely hotel, newly renovated, the room and service was fabulous. The room was dotted with many little extra touches, chocolate, Nespresso coffee pods, DAB radio, handwritten welcome note, camomile pillow spray and the bath even had a rubber duck, bath robes, slippers, really high end toiletries and possibly the best shower in any hotel in the UK. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the staff were exemplary, friendly, helpful and attentive. 5 stars is probably not enough. Will definitely stay again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
