There is a large car park and delightful outside seating with wonderful views over the South Downs. Excellent communication with staff, Connor was very helpful with our late check-in. Breakfast was excellent too. All very good. Would definitely recommend.

One thing about adventures is they tend to work up a hefty appetite, so it’s fortunate that Lainston House is full of opportunities for feasting. The Avenue restaurant, named after the stunning avenue of lime trees leading up to the house, serves up a tantalising tasting menu with a BBC MasterChef: The Professionals champion at the helm. It’s so authentic and is great service
