The staff is lovely, the location is excellent! Would love to return-- The restaurant (terrace) is also convenient, and the food was quite good, service was excellent!

Over the past couple of years, I must've called - either with my son or partner - some 4/5 times. Rooms exquisite, staff and welcome exemplary, an ambience you won't find anywhere else in York. The decor is classic yet contemporary, amazing beds, wonderful bathrooms, AND - for the first time yet - we had breakfast. Oh my life, what've I been spending my life doing?? Superb spread, all seemingly local produce, and JUST the right amount of food to set you off on your day. Plus, it snowed over Saturday night, so we woke to a deep blanket of the white stuff. Lovely.

The 5-star Grand Hotel offers stylish rooms. Set in the iconic Grade II listed former railway headquarters, it has bedrooms that feature free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, bathrobes, slippers, Molton Brown... The staff was extremely interested in meeting our needs, and they absolutely succeeded. The location is within easy walking distance of the main attractions and the train station in York. The room was quite comfortable.

With original stone flooring, this 18th-century coaching inn is close to the medieval town centre, 800 metres from Beverley Rail Station and Beverley Minster. Very nice hotel, excellent breakfast

We had a wonderful stay at Sixteen B. The apartment was spotlessly clean, cosy, and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. It’s located in a peaceful village but still within close proximity to York city centre, making it ideal for both relaxing and exploring. Olga was an excellent host — very attentive and responsive, regularly checking in to make sure everything was okay and if we needed any top-ups. We felt well looked after. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend Sixteen B to others. Thank you, Olga, for a great stay.

We had a gorgeous dinner on the Friday evening after a long drive up from London. It was a really well thought out menu and it was delicious. The wine list was also great and complemented the menu really well.
