Located in the heart of Athens, just 200 metres from Syntagma Square, the modern Electra Metropolis boasts a small, rooftop pool with waterfall effect, and a sun terrace with views over the city. This has to be almost the best hotel ever. The staff was super, super helpful and good. The location is perfect, very nice spot to walk everywhere and catch a taxi as well. The top restaurant will serve you breakfast, lunch and dinner so you are able to enjoy the spectacular Acropolis view with tiny birds visiting at all times. The hotel is wonderfully, perfectly air conditioned both in the lobby and at the rooms. The rooms are clean, quiet, large. So many places to store your stuff. Cartons of water were generously provided. There is also a turnover service around 17:00. The shower has both rain shower option and handheld option which is great. I really liked the amenities as well. As a Turkish person, I never expect a breakfast as good as our standards but this is the first time an European hotel managed to catch my expectation level, amazing breakfast 10/10 (Divan açık büfe ayarında!). The spa should DEFINITELY be booked and experienced as well, super good service. It was also my birthday and they gifted me a birthday cake and a glass of pink prosecco :) Which really made the trip so special for me.
