Water for the tea definitely could have been hotter and the bacon cooked more. Desserts were plentiful and delicious. Also, Petros the front desk person was great. He was so helpful regarding dining suggestions, taxis, the general area we were in, just his overall demeanor was so pleasant. Yes, it's what a traveler would expect at a hotel, etc, but he went above and beyond. The young lady who wa the server in the dining room our first night was also interesting, helpful and so pleasant. We'd go back there in a heart beat.

We were greeted at the reception by the kind and helpful Maria. We were upgraded to a deluxe room without asking, a large and luxurious room with 2 wide balconies, great view to the lake. The hotel is clean and well equipped, an excellent pool, a very good breakfast with a large and delicious selection.

The pool area and views are what make this hotel extremely special and are why I would stay again, I could have happily spent every day there sunbathing with my book. The room was very comfortable and spacious with good aircon, a small fridge and a comfy bed. The balcony was nice for sunrise and sunset. The staff were all very friendly and made the visit extra special — thank you.

Hotel Antique is housed in a 150 year old stone building in the historic center of Ioannina, a few meters from the castle of Ioannina and all its sites, and 250 meters from Pamvotis lake. This was the most perfect "boutique" hotel I have ever stayed at. Everything was gleaming and shining, with beautiful mirrors and ornaments on occasional tables and art on the walls. Every member of staff was a joy to deal with and set you up for your day with a smile. The breakfast was incredible with many delicious local dishes and pastries, and there is a beautiful enclosed courtyard where you can eat if the weather allows. It is so well located just outside the walls of the old town and the lake and within walking distance of everywhere. We had such a lovely stay in March 25, thanks to all of you.
