The hosts were very welcoming and kind. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh cooked local food made each day. Parking and driving is quite difficult so keep that in mind, although I was able to find a good spot.

I recently stayed at Kyniska Palace Conference & Spa in Mystras in April 2025 and had a truly pleasant experience. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean and very spacious, which was perfect for my family—I stayed with my wife and two children. We booked the half-board option and really enjoyed both the dinner and breakfast provided; the food was delicious and satisfying. The hotel is located close to Mystras, a historic fortified town in Laconia, Peloponnese, situated on Mount Taygetus above ancient Sparta. In 1989, the ruins of Mystras—including the fortress, palace, churches, and monasteries—were named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site features a museum and partially restored ruins that are absolutely worth visiting. I would definitely recommend Kyniska Palace to anyone visiting the region. It’s a great base for exploring the rich history of Mystras while enjoying comfort and great hospitality.

Luxurious and secluded resort in the middle of olive trees farm. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful stay, this is the best place. Staff were friendly and polite. They had a mini train inside for kids and 3 tennis courts for adults. Loved our stay. The room size was adequate. The exterior had the authentic stone architecture. The breakfast buffet was also huge with a lot of variety. Archeological site just 5 mins away.
