The staff was genuinely friendly, helpful and excited to make our stay memorable. The food and drinks were spectacular and the location could not be better. Can’t wait to return for another fun-filled vacation.

Everything was perfect, the room itself has been very comfortable with its own pool. The suites being remote has actually increased privacy and comfort. The isolation is good you don’t hear anything from your neighbors. The broad availability of drinks is a plus, you drink cocktails as should be. The snacks offered at the pool and the beach are also delicious.

Boasting an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and magnificent sea views, Grecotel Astir Palace is located right on the seafront of the scenic Alexandroupoli. Great hotel, as seen in the pictures, very clean and modern rooms, staff is excellent, the facilities were great! Breakfast was good!

We loved this 5 star hotel right on the beach in Kavala. When we arrived, they upgraded our room to a junior suite which was delightful. We had a large king bed, and two balconies that overlooked the ocean. We were very close to the water's edge and could hear the waves crashing on the rocks below. Our view was beautiful, looking out over the water and the town of Kavala. The bed was comfortable. We had two comfy chairs, as well as a desk with a chair. The bathroom was roomy and well equipped. The room was spacious and so relaxing. It comes with a breakfast buffet which was varied and delicious. All the staff were very helpful and most of them spoke decent English. There was a nice market nearby to pick up some fruit and water and snacks. The staff would call for a taxi for us whenever we needed to go anywhere. The hotel itself is about a 5 minute drive from the city of Kavala, which is a very authentic Greek city and not overrun with tourists.

Makryammos offers beachfront rooms with direct sea view, spread within a pine forest. The 4-star complex features a large swimming pool, and there is a small zoo on site. We loved everything. Location, food. Staff were helpful and friendly.
