What amazing hotel. This was my second time in Atitlan and last time I made the mistake of staying in a larger village. This time I chose a smaller village and Aviva hotel, and it was the perfect choice. The room was incredible, comfy bed, stunning views, tasty coffee and a terrace to relax. And the breakfast was sooo good. Run, don't walk to stay here if you visit lake atitlan.

Beautifully maintained property as well. The communication was 10/10 and we had an amazing time exploring and lounging around.

El Dragon Hotel has a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in San Marcos La Laguna. This 5-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service. Well, I work in tourism. El dragon hotel has a narrow driveway and I took my car down it. I shouldn't have. I should have asked first but I assumed that it's a driveway. It should be fine and took the car down. About half way down I regretted it. I damaged their fence and they were cool about everything. I know some people would have used the situation to get more money out of you but they didn't. It says a lot about them and I really appreciated it.

It is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic view on the lake and the volcanoes. Quiet places give you the possibility to rest and the garden also allows you to walk, relax and enjoy flowers and birds around. The personnel are very kind and patient. Rooms are clean, comfortable and the view is very nice.

Allowed us to check out late and leave our luggage whilst we explored. We then missed our boat to Panajachel and they let us stay an extra night with no hassle.
