The luxurious 5-star Muckross Park Hotel and Spa is located in Killarney's National Park. It offers elegant air-conditioned rooms, the AA Rosette winner Yew Tree Restaurant, and Major Colgan's Gastropub. What a fabulous hotel with exceptional service. Huge credit to all the staff who were so welcoming, couldn’t do more to help and always smiling. The hotel itself is stunning, from the entrance with candles & fresh flowers, the gorgeous spa, it all felt very luxe. We were offered a welcome drink whilst checking in, bags taken to our room, shown to the spa as we booked a time slot (access is free to all guests you just have to pre book a time slot) the spa was gorgeous, very quiet so even more special, inside and outside jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and lovely pool with bubble beds. The bar/lounge was so cosy with a fire and comfy sofas. We ate at the onsite pub which was lovely. I would try the onsite fine dining if coming back. Breakfast was a real treat, lovely service, great selection of buffet and cooked options (all included) the room itself was great, a nice hotel room, just didn’t have the wow factor that the rest of the hotel did. We will absolutely be returning when visiting Ireland again. Great value for money as well. The location was ideal to explore Killarney, close to the waterfalls and stunning landscapes. You can play tennis at this 5-star hotel, and the area is popular for fishing and cycling. The setting was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are a fantastic mixture of beautifully maintained and wild, with woodland walks that are just stunning. The service was impeccable. Every single person was very kind and thoughtful and anticipated our every need. The castle is gorgeous, especially decorated for Christmas! Every meal we ate was also completely delicious. We are already counting the days until we can come back.

The spa treatment and service were a delight as well. The breakfast choices were plenty and healthy options offered as well which I much appreciated.

Excellent service and the cordially of the staff. Always smiling and helpful. The room is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. The restaurant is fantastic.
