The GM Mr Dheerendra Kumar was exceptional and spend much time assisting and guiding us on all our non-hotel related matters. His intelligence, knowledge, seriousness and above all his humble personality gleans towards RAMADA could do well in beneficially providing him with greater challenges elsewhere in a larger hotel within the group as he has so much more potential to meet such challenges. The LaLit Grand Palace was originally built in 1910 for the royal family. It now provides luxurious rooms with views of Dal Lake and the beautiful gardens. Everything, from start to finish. Excellent hotel in a fabulous location. Clean and big rooms. We got upgraded, for free. The staff were fantastic, would stay again and can recommend to all. Food was good also, choice on breakfast was one of the best.

Sitting 1730 metres above sea level, the luxurious Taj Dal View enjoys majestic views of the mountains and Dal Lake. We had wonderful time staying at Taj Dal View. Staff was courteous and very polite and helpful. Breakfast and food was excellent. We will definitely go back there
