I traveled here with my mother and pet cat, and they took care of all our special requirements. The location is wonderful, with a very nice view of the mountains and river. The staff is very warm and welcoming, especially Iqra, Shoaib and all of the housekeeping staff. They had some great Kashmiri food recommendations as well. Try the fried trout with walnut chutney.

The LaLit Grand Palace was originally built in 1910 for the royal family. It now provides luxurious rooms with views of Dal Lake and the beautiful gardens. Everything, from start to finish. Excellent hotel in a fabulous location. Clean and big rooms. We got upgraded, for free. The staff were fantastic, would stay again and can recommend to all. Food was good also, choice on breakfast was one of the best.

Perfectly positioned on the Jammu-Katra highway, Vivanta Katra, Vaishno Devi stands just fifteen minutes from the Katra Railway Station. The staff is just amazing. The location is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are well appointed and the available facilities are at par. I have stayed at this property before and they are doing great work.
