Featuring an outdoor pool, Masseria Il Melograno is surrounded by olive trees in the countryside of Puglia, 5 km from Monopoli. It offers a paid private beach, Tamerici Beach Club, 7 km away. This was an absolutely stunning historic property with 5 star facilities. Loved my day at the Beach Club . The staff on reception were always extremely friendly , helpful and informative . This is very important when you are a woman travelling alone . I’m very grateful for their help and u distancing . It was also quite amazing to see the beautiful ancient olive trees in the property - put 900years old . What an honour to be in their ( olive trees) company .

How to fabulous to stay in a Trulli, it was like stepping back in time. My room was just like the photos and was very comfortable with plenty of space for a solo traveller. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was freshly prepared each morning and you could have whatever you wanted, so much choice in a beautiful dining area. Just off the main piazza with lots of restaurants, etc. I would highly recommend.

La Peschiera is a luxury 5-star hotel on the Adriatic Sea in Monopoli. It offers natural spring-water pool, a sauna and panoramic views of the sea. WiFi is free throughout. Having breakfast by the sea every morning was the best moment of our day. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Staff was always kind and attentive, great location to go from and to the different areas around.
