And to the entire kitchen team and chef, thank you for the delicious and creative menus that kept us excited for dinner each evening! Our personal highlight was definitely the spa. The essential oil baths were next level, and we can't thank Federico enough for creating such a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. He is a true star, and we will absolutely be back to Hotel Tofana just for his amazing spa treatments. The area is popular for skiing, and ski equipment hire is available at this 5-star hotel. LeFay is a beautiful property, and I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was impressive, the staff was extremely friendly, and I loved the amenities such as the heated pool, massage, bar/lounge, and both restaurants on the property. The location cannot be beat. Pinzolo is a beautiful city and I was able to attend the Easter Sunday mass at a historic church in the middle of town. Just across the river is Carisolo, another scenic village with a stunning church and some great restaurants. My favorite was Ristorante Pizzeria All Antica Segheria. Finally, my friend and I followed the hotel staff’s recommendation for some local hiking. Just behind the hotel is a small paved road which climbs into the mountains and takes you past some local farms. The view was fantastic and all of the local people were very friendly. Our April weather was pleasant but we also imagined what it would be like to visit in summer or even in the middle of winter to see the snow. I hope to return to this property very soon!
