Set at an altitued of 500 metres above the sea level, at the foot of Mount Etna, Monaci delle Terre Nere is 2 km outside the town of Zafferana Etnea. Everything! It was excellent! The hotel, the staff, the club sandwich - :) - the pool, the view.. I mean.. It was amazing! Everyone so nice, so oriented to the customer.. I have no words for how well treated we were.

The hotel is fabulous, within walking distance from the center of Taormina. The surroundings are beautiful, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the bed sheets simply the best! You must try St. George Restaurant by Heinz Beck, the only 2-Michelin-starred restaurant in Taormina! What an experience! Each dish was carefully created and the flavors were just wow!
