If you come to see the temples, there is no better place to stay than this hotel. It was so lovely to be able to walk out of the hotel and be at the temples within 5 minutes; and to look out of the window and see the Temple of Concordia right there on a hill above you. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when I return to Agrigento.

Grand Hotel Et Des Palmes is an elegant Art Nouveau building, right outside the restricted traffic area. It is a 5-minute walk from Palermo’s Massimo and Politeama Theatres. The location is excellent, easy walking to all points of interest. Hotel is well appointed and staff are amazing!

We came on the spot because our B&B appeared to be awful. So we switched and were happy with that. The reception was big, the room had brand new renovation, was clean and modern. There was a greeting card on the table, glass bottled water and traditional cookies on the pillows. The room had everything we needed: slippers, robes, all hygienic staff you can ever need. The hotel had a partnership with (or included) spa. We had no time to go there, but the prices were really good. The breakfast was more like in Florence and it was the best cuisine we managed to try on Sicily. The next day my friend left early in the morning, and I had my flight in the evening. So I left my luggage on the reception and went to the excursion to Etna in the first half of the day. When I came back i was not sure what to do. I wanted to swim, but I couldn't take a shower after. The receptionist gave me a voucher for the free entrance for Lido and told me they have jacuzzi pool on the roof, and I can rest there and have a shower after. I followed their plan and it was great. When it was time to leave I ordered prosecco and they gave me antipasto (snacks). Actually one of the snacks was a bowl of pasta and a lot of staff in addition. For me it was a dinner))) P.S. When we called to the reception at night and asked for water, the guy looked like a butler from movie "Home alone 2"=) And all the staff were nice, clean, uniformed and polite.

Located a 3-minute drive from the Mediterranean coast, Wellness Spa Hotel Principe Fitalia is set in Fanusa and features a restaurant, fitness centre and two swimming pools. Everything was exellent. The food was wonderful and service was outstanding, and always with a smile.

Featuring a garden with a free outdoor pool, Doric Eco Boutique Resort & Spa is 2 km from the UNESCO-protected Valley of the Temples. The rooms were very comfy and the added benefit of a private pool overlooking the Agrigento monuments was stunning. The main area was very nice as well and the staff were always there to help. The Spa services were another highlight. We only stayed 1 night but wished we were there for a full week.

Set at an altitued of 500 metres above the sea level, at the foot of Mount Etna, Monaci delle Terre Nere is 2 km outside the town of Zafferana Etnea. A perfect stay in a perfect location, simply wonderful. The staff was most accommodating and professional, making us feel at home and fulfilling any request with a friendly smile.
