We stayed in a room with a private pool, and it was the perfect way to unwind. Spacious, comfortable, and tranquil, it was the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. Dining here was an experience in itself, and each meal exceeded expectations. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor, paired with some excellent wine recommendations. Dining with the stunning views of the valley and nearby temples was an unforgettable experience that we’ll cherish. The thoughtful touches, incredible staff, and amazing amenities made this an experience we’ll remember for years to come. Set at an altitued of 500 metres above the sea level, at the foot of Mount Etna, Monaci delle Terre Nere is 2 km outside the town of Zafferana Etnea. The breakfast was excellent. The location not easy to find especially if you are there for the first time. The staff is well trained, kind and ready and eager to go the extra mile to please you. Marzia received us and she is the milk of human kindness. Fabrizio in the bar is a genius of cocktails. Sonia the massagist is first class and very experienced. Chiara in the restaurant is excellent

The Ashbee Hotel is an early 20th-century villa set in front of Taormina's San Pancrazio Church and 100 metres from the Greek Amphitheatre. Rooms offer unique views. It was amazing! The hotel is fabulous, within walking distance from the center of Taormina. The surroundings are beautiful, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the bed sheets simply the best! You must try St. George Restaurant by Heinz Beck, the only 2-Michelin-starred restaurant in Taormina! What an experience! Each dish was carefully created and the flavors were just wow! And the staff — the staff makes it all! Thank you to all the personnel for the care you offer to each guest, for the smiles, and for your professionalism. Diana, you have my heart!
