Right in the heart of Florence's shopping district and surrounded by history and art. We loved it, it was so elegant, nice to find a touch of glamour as so many modern hotels are rather dull. La Gemma delivers 5* quality from dawn to dusk. Nothing is too much trouble the staff are amazing, especially Gian Luca the hospitality manager, and Boldo the mixologist, made incredible cocktails for us. The food was out of this world, truly worthy of a Michelin* in my opinion. Beautifully presented plates and sleek service in the beautifully designed restaurant LUCA's. Even breakfast was a gourmet affair, with everything cooked fresh to order from an impressive menu, they catered for my gluten-free diet brilliantly. I had the best Eggs Benedict on the planet. All in all, La Gemma personifies Florence...glamorous, and beautiful, where one visit is never enough. We will be back.

Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi Firenze Hotel is housed in the Renaissance Palazzo Gaddi, dating back to 1596 and boasting traditional Florentine Baroque halls. The hotel made my stay much better. The room was fabulous got cleaned two times a day, the reception gave a free upgrade.

Ville Sull'Arno offers accommodation in Florence, right on the banks of the river Arno. It features a restaurant and a free wellness centre with an indoor pool, sauna, and Turkish bath. It was a very beautiful place and everything about it was very warm and lovely. I really loved the canvas in the room, it made my stay special... The view was spectacular. Devoti Restaurant deserves its own standing ovation. Set within a beautifully restored old church, the ambiance alone is magical. But the food—every single dish—was a revelation. It’s a beautiful hotel located right next to a vineyard. Locations are beautiful, many pools to choose from. Staff was very friendly and the service is up to a 5 star hotel. There was a courtesy Champagne bottle in our room and a hand written letter to welcome us. A free tote bag and an umbrella as gifts. At the check out they gave us a nice gift with a bottle of truffle oil. They really take care of the details.
