Novotel Nara is a lovely hotel. Our room was spacious although not much space for clothes. It however had everything else you needed. I lovely the onsen area and massage chairs we could use. The staff were very helpful and was lovely how they decorated the room for my husbands birthday.

We came mainly for the location to Nara Park and the train station and was not expecting more than a basic hotel with beds. We were pleasantly surprised with the inner-courtyard for the kids, the restaurant and the general design of the hotel with sustainable wood. We would recommend to anyone staying the night in Nara.

Set in Nara, Hotel Nikko Nara is connected to JR Nara Station. Tōdai-ji temple and the Nara Park can be reached within a 30-minute walk from the property. It's just steps away from the train station, convenient entrance on the 2nd floor. We arrived late night, speed check-in process, breakfast was great, staff friendly and helpful. The day that we skipped the cleaning service it was provided anyways a bag with all supplies needed. We ordered extra pillows and it was all great.

Their professionalism and friendliness truly stood out, and we cannot praise them highly enough. Additionally, the bell service team, especially the three gentlemen from Nepal, were nothing short of outstanding. They exemplify what it means to deliver world-class hospitality. Their kindness, efficiency, and readiness to assist made us feel genuinely cared for. In fact, their impeccable service often compensated for areas where the front office fell short. Several fellow guests we spoke to while waiting for the shuttle bus also shared similar high praise for these individuals. The century old Nara Hotel features classic Japanese architecture and elegant rooms with free WiFi. Located on Nara Park’s beautiful hills, it overlooks the ancient capital’s historic sites. The staff and room were great.Its also very close to nara park.Breakfast was good too
