The location is superb. It located in the city center and access to the station, restaurants, etc. is super easy. The breakfast buffet is relatively simple but at least its value is more than the cost of 500 yen.
What an amazing stay! We stayed in "Ruri", a Japanese-Western style room and it was fabulous. It had the most stunning bathroom that we have ever had in our Japan travels. Top quality fittings and amenities, it was so luxurious. Breakfast and dinner in our room were both delicious and generous. We attended the meditation and Fire Ritual, which were both such special experiences. Our stay in Koyasan and at the Eko-in was one of the highlights of our trip,
The view from the room is superb!!, we stayed at Japanese tatami room type. The room was spacious and felt like ninja house where so many doors connected to different small rooms. We got buffet both dinner and breakfast. I would recommend you to try dinner, it was superb. Breakdowns is ok but nothing special. The staff were amazing!! :)
I loveeeee it People here are amazing :) Food here is also great! Facilities are just superb Everything well prepared I don't have enough to just say that
Stayed in the Luxury Suite with garden view as part of a joint honeymoon/birthday treat and wow, what an experience! The suite was absolutely stunning, the food was beautifully presented and getting to experience the meditation and fire ritual made this a unique stay, and one we will both treasure for years to come.
It was like a 5 star capsule hotel One of the best I have ever stayed in There should be one at every train station like this
This was an amazing experience for us personally. A very special place that words cannot describe… you have to go there to feel the emotion. The Shojin Ryori is worth a Michelin Star. We had the privilege of staying in the recently created luxury suite, it was breathtaking. Please if you go make sure you participate in the morning and fire services as well as the meditation - it is an incredible experience. We are grateful for this opportunity given to us.
The whole experience had been amazing 10 years ago, and still was. The rooms are clean and practical, and the food is quite good. However, expect it to be what it is, rather than expecting a 5 star restaurant. It is a place to relax and to reflect, rather than a tourist attraction.
So much more than we were expecting from a temple stay. Excellent 5 star accommodation.
