Nestled along the pristine shores of Diani Beach, Nomad Beach Resort offers the perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and adventure on Kenya’s stunning Southern Coast. From world-class dining and fine wines to unforgettable ocean experiences, every moment at Nomad is designed for pure indulgence. The Nomad is a really lovely place. The food was very good, the staff at reception very friendly and professional. The whole set up with the swimming pool surrounded by greenery is lovely. Also nice to watch the different monkeys climbing in the trees. The beach is truly stunning, and while before booking I had feared the beach would be too busy, this was not the case. Of course when you go for a walk you are approached by beach sellers, but they accept a no. We had a standalone bungalow, with our own reclining chairs and lots of space around, very pleasant (that probably explains the high price, but for us that privacy and peacefulness was what we had been looking for), beach sellers walk past, but they leave you in peace when you say no. We also appreciated their environmental efforts.

Q Boutique Resort Malindi has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Malindi. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor pool. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a concierge service and free WiFi. There are few properties I've considered giving such a high rating as Q boutique to be honest and they deserve it! It's a fairly new property but they've really considered so many aspects of their experience. The staff are very thoughtful and helpful and warm. The rooms/villas are quaint and cozy while still meeting professional standards of hospitality. The breakfasts had a good variety of dishes and even a few things we asked for on request like lemon tea. The dinner was a hearty serving of very fluffy mashed potatoes, steamed veggies and the tastiest fish! I really like their swimming pool, it was always clean and especially by afternoon the water's a great temperature. We ended up staying an extra night than what was planned at Q boutique because we had such a good experience. I'd definitely go back here and it would be my luxury place of choice for Malindi.

The resort has four private villas in lush gardens and a beach & coral front frequented by sea turtles, exotic fish, and exotic birds. The resort was designed to reflect the East African lifestyle and culture. Each luxurious villa has its own plunge pool, extensive lounge area, and private garden. The resort offers the award-winning Mawimbi Seafood restaurant showcasing plenty of fresh seafood dishes and intercontinental cuisine, Cafe Amka offering locally roasted coffee and all things beverages, a spa with a variety of treatments, including physiotherapy and sports therapy, a deck overlooking the Indian Ocean to spot sea turtles during high tide, diving and other water activities and bicycles to explore the town of Malindi. The property is located on the beach. Rooms are very spacious and each lot of 5 rooms shares a fantastic swimming pool, a dinning room areas and a sitting area. Its absolutely beautiful ! Personnel is very helpful and extremely nice. The food was excellent to say the least. Juices of natural fruits from the region, great coffee, cereals, eggs, etc. The restaurant is open all day which is very convenient. Room service is served in the dinning table right outside the room. The table is perfectly set and the personal is ready for whatever you need. The Spa is very nice and the person in charge gives fabulous massages. All in all this hotel is a great place to stay when in Malindi for either pleasure or business.

The spacious, air-conditioned rooms come with elegant décor, a balcony with Indian Ocean views, and a seating area with satellite TV. Some rooms also feature a private pool. The bathrooms include a bathrobe, slipper and free toiletries. The property looks exactly as it’s listed . A few areas needs touch ups but it’s okay The staff are the best I have met so far in my travels . They take care of you. The location beachfront is superb !

From the moment of arrival, everything was done to make my stay feel safe, warm, and genuinely welcoming — which makes a real difference, especially when traveling alone. A very special mention goes to the waiters. Their kindness, constant smiles, attentiveness, and genuine care stood out throughout the stay. They didn’t just serve meals — they created comfort, ease, and a true feeling of being at home. Those small daily interactions made a big impact in my experience of the country. The security team was also excellent and reassuring at all times (including a late-night moment when they kindly helped with an unexpected insect in the room). The driver and all other staff members contributed with professionalism and kindness, creating a truly pleasant and safe environment. The team also showed great honesty and integrity by contacting me afterward to explain that a payment initially thought to be declined by the bank had actually been processed 4 times.

We just came back from Mzima Beach, where we stayed for 9 days, and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The place itself is beautiful, but what really made it special were the people. Everyone was so kind and truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and happy. Room service was just perfect — always on time, incredibly attentive, and everything was spotlessly clean. You could tell how much care and pride they put into every little detail. Coming back to a beautifully made room every day felt so comforting. Charles, the manager, was absolutely fantastic — always smiling, full of life, and spreading so much positive energy around. He really made the whole experience shine. My husband also had a deep tissue massage from Emely, and she was absolutely amazing. She really knows what she’s doing — professional, caring, and so skilled. He felt completely relaxed and renewed afterward. Mzima Beach isn’t just a beautiful place to stay — it’s a place filled with heart. The people there make all the difference. We left with so much gratitude and so many happy memories.
