Located at the heart of 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic site, Skybay Gyeongpo Hotel is just within a short stroll of Lake Gyeongpo and Gyeongpo Beach. This hotel was really great – located right on the beach with good transport connections. There was even a direct bus from there to the famous BTS stop, about an hour away. The staff were kind, and the facilities were very nice. I was honestly surprised by how low the price was compared to the quality. While I didn’t have an ocean view, I had a beautiful view of the lake on the other side – also very scenic, especially at night when the city lights reflected on the water. The room was beautiful, the bed very comfortable, and it was well-equipped. I would be happy to come back.

Hotel Tops 10 is just a 3-minute drive from Geumjin Beach and under a 40-minute drive from Gangneung KTX Station. Free WiFi access is available at the hotel. Modern, less crowded, quiet place. Kind staff with good hospitality. Good view

Newly opened in January of 2018, St. John’s Hotel is located along Gangmun Beach in Gangneung. friendly staff:) nice view! comfortable bed and pillow right next to the beach. wanna bring my dog next time!

Overlooking the sea, Lotte Resort Sokcho features a water park, fitness centre and restaurants. Sokcho Beach can be reached in under 10 minutes by car. Great view from the hotel, there is a coastal trail near the hotel. Walking distance to Sokcho, beach and fishmarkets. Spacious free parking, some food options, convenience store and self service laundry at the hotel.

Every aspects of this hotel exceeds my expectation. It was dreamy stay at the facility with the world class facilities and view. The snowy weather adds more dramatic atmosphere to the warm swimming pool and hot jacuzzi in the morning. The sauna with out door tub and snowy beach view was fantastic.

Exceptional rooms highly recommend staying in the 'convention tower' the main hotel looked a bit older. Our room was absolutely awesome. They have a great breakfast/dinner buffet although quite $$$. So easy to get to the ski house, they also offer a lot of discounts on ski rental. Exceeded expectations! Would book again.

Yongpong Resort Dragon Valley Hotel is located at the foot of Yongpyong ski slopes, the venue for 2018 Winter Olympics alpine skiing games. Loved everything about our stay here! The room was comfortable and the resort itself was very beautiful. We had a good time staying here.

Kensington Hotel Pyeongchang features a herb garden and free WiFi in public areas. Located just a 10-minute drive from Korea Botanic Garden, it offers rooms with mountain views. The buildings and facilities were old, but everywhere was clean, well-organized, and convenient. It was evident that a lot of effort had been made to accommodate family travelers, with thoughtful touches throughout.
