Location was great, and we loved biking around the town on the bikes provided by the hotel. It was also easy to walk from the hotel as well. The food was mostly outstanding, the staff very friendly with excellent English. We loved the architecture and layout of the hotel, and the pool was amazing.

I hired a motorbike and flipped over. The hotel staff escorted me to the hospital and took X-ray. Luckily it was only ankle twisted and no bone issue. I was lucky to live in Sofitel especially the manager named Max provided a lot of help. If I were living in other hotel, I doubt they would provide the same level service. The hotel itself was also great.

Relaxful Hotel泊岸酒店 có hồ bơi ngoài trời, trung tâm thể dục, khu vườn và phòng chờ chung ở Luang Prabang. We loved it so much that we extended our 2 night stay for another 2 nights. Also booked one of the VIP rooms which was great compared to the twin room we had for the first nights. They have a complimentary airport pick up service and also took us to the train station on the last day. There are always 2 drivers that take guests to the center of the town (market area) for free which was a great service we used many times. If you want to walk to the center it takes roughly 15 to 20 minutes. The rooms were cleaned daily and stocked with water bottles and soft drinks. We also had a cake offered by the hotel because it was our wedding anniversary. In general I think this hotel is great to stay at and only needs a few improvements to make it even better but it didn’t change our experience negatively. The food and room service were great and I wish we knew it was that good because the restaurants in town are mostly for tourists and the food isn’t that great. The night market also has a lot of food for tourists at western prices which we didn’t enjoy at all
