The food and cocktails are lovely! Special thanks to Zander, the owner, for his personal attention to all guests and control and care of all details during our stay. And Loki dog is our big love. The spacious garden was great to walk around in and being in the middle of nature! The Villa itself is superb, very comfortable atmosphere and perfect attention to detail.

We loved D’art Villa- it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the local beaches in Tangalle after a busy few weeks exploring other areas of Sri Lanka. The room was clean, comfortable and quirky. The staff restock water and tea/coffee as needed each day. They will also clean the room and replace towels if needed. Breakfast was so lovely and we took advantage of a cooked evening meal by the onsite cook, which was perfect! We felt like we had such a special time throughout, and the whole team were on hand to help, assist, advise and chat. Such a friendly, welcoming and warm welcome and stay throughout. The pool is also beautiful, as is the whole villa, there are many different seating areas and the relaxing music playing quietly throughout the day creates the perfect atmosphere. The staff are amazing! I struggled with WiFi for work as the Villa is a little further back from the beach (10 min drive). When I mentioned this to George, he & Suresh arranged and installed a booster for the room within a couple of hours and it worked perfectly! Tangalle is a short tuktuk drive away, but the guys at the villa will ring and sort this for you as and when needed. The staff team are all amazing, and you were all definitely the cherry on top of our stay- you made our stay a beautiful one. Thank you once again- we hope to return in the future!

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The common areas were beautifully decorated and plenty of room to relax. We loved the outdoor showers and the bathroom was large, with an open shower. There was a private patio area opening to the green space between the property and the beach which was nice. The room was in the ground level but the breeze was slight. There is A/C which was a necessity! The food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka! The menu was extensive and delicious. The staff was superb, catering to every need we had including arranging driver to Ella. The location was amazing, just steps away from the Mawella Beach which was deserted and quiet. Thank you for the beautiful stay!

Such a great location, close to Tangalle. Big, green property that makes you feel relaxed. You can always find a nice spot to enjoy the shade in hot day, listening sooting sound of waves. Lounge area being one of them. Beautiful pool and vicinity of the beach gives you the choice to enjoy your swim. Room was spacious and inviting, with the big and comfortable bed and nice terrace to enter the garden. A la carte breakfast was amazing, with variety of local and international choices. Compliments to the chef. We had the issue with our shower, but Oshan and his team sorted it out immediately. The only thing we regret is not staying here longer, due to our previously arranged plans, but we are looking forward to our next trip to Sri Lanka and enjoy Taru villas once again.

Set in Yala, 42 km from Situlpawwa, Flameback Eco Lodge features concierge services and free WiFi. We stayed at the new Villa. That was perfect for family since it’s huge two story villa and has a private pool. Initially I was bit nervous because there were almost no information about this villa. But we recognized that’s because this facility opened in the end of this month (Dec. 2024). Once my family arrived at this villa, we were immediately fascinated by this villa and great hospitality of the staff. I can recommend this although the gramping camp sites should be also good. In addition, location is good. We can enjoy game safaris for both Yala National Park and Udawalawe National Park since it’s located between both national parks. Finally, I was very satisfied with the email communication with Ms. Sonali Lowe (Manager - Sales & Reservations) prior to our stay, as it was both prompt and precise.
