The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. Set amidst lush paddy fields surrounded by lush greens, the property is just 10-minute drive away from the famous Temple of the Tooth Relic. The staff were very nice , helpful and friendly. The pool is super nice. Rooms were comfortable. We would stay here again if we come back to Sri Lanka.

As usual in Sri Lanka the kindness of the staff is beyond anything. We had a great room with views of the mountains. The infinity pool is breathtaking. We also did one of the hikes that they offered in the morning and learned about the estate. The food does not look like the one advertised but it’s still good. This hotel has by far the fastest WiFi in all of the island. It’s great value for the price!
