The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. We had a wonderful experience at The Golden Crown Hotel in Kandy. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was truly impressive. A special mention to Ms. Kaveesha, who was extremely supportive, cooperative, and went out of her way to make our stay smooth and comfortable. She personally showed us the room and guided us on many things during our stay. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The room was spacious, comfortable, and offered a stunning view of the surrounding hills. The location of the hotel is about 5 km from the main town, but that makes it even more peaceful and beautiful. The property is surrounded by lush greenery, and in the morning, the sound of birds chirping adds a magical, natural charm. It truly feels like staying in the heart of nature. The breakfast buffet deserves a special mention too – it had a wide spread with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Overall, this hotel perfectly balances comfort, natural beauty, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kandy.

We were stunned by this hotel. It is unbelievably beautiful. Very nicely decorated, clean and well managed. We had two.delux room on the second floor. Most of all we were impressed by job of florist - I've never seen such beautiful floral decoration in the reception lobby and common areas. The dinner and breakfast were solid and delicious. We wish we could stay longer in

Properties like this one are why we choose small-family run establishments. The pride in ownership and hospitality are evident, the food is amazing!

It's unbelievable what treasure we were able to discover here. Small but nice, remote, high in the mountains above Kandy, we had three wonderful days here. Very nice, modern rooms, a breathtaking view and a very strong team make this hotel what it is. Every wish was met and fulfilled. Our daily planning was supported... tucktucks and taxis were organized... and last but not least, an outstanding breakfast was prepared for us every morning according to our wishes. It was wonderful and when we are back in Kandy we won't have to think about where to stay. You're doing great guys, The Summit - Kandy is an absolute recommendation!

This hotel was a lovely surprise, beautiful, incredible staff, the best food! Especially the breakfast. It's 30 min away from Kandy but the peace, the nature, it's very much appreciated. And it's easy to request a tuk tuk to take you to the city.

We enjoyed everything about this stay! For us this place was great to explore sights nearby Kandy, as well as a region around Sigiriya. Afterwards it was pleasant to return to the hotel and have a rest away from noise and rush. There were everything we needed in the room. Dinners and breakfasts were delightful. There is plenty of wildlife around the hotel that you can meet. We found management of the hotel very professional and attentive. It is impossible to describe all about the villa and facilities of the hotel in short review. We can just advise to stay here if you are traveling in Sri Lanka.

The bungalow sits atop a hill with a view of a river, hills and forested landscape capturing a picturesque view of Kandy. The morning mist encompasses the bungalow making you feel you're living in the clouds. With an infinity pool and attentive service and a gorgeous property this stay capped my entire Sri Lanka trip. The bungalow is located 15 min drive from the main property but check-in and everything else is handled directly at the bungalow. The rooms are clean and well furnished. Manju (head of housekeeping) took our orders and overall made our stay enjoyable. The food cooked by the private chef was memorable. Would encourage all friends to visit.
