The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. I really liked the welcome they give u, all staff properly trained on guest care, as I arrived Kavisha was very welcoming and throughout my stay she was inquiring n getting feedbacks plus the new wing rooms were super luxurious and has the vibe of a modern hotel! Food was excellent as well!

After a disappointing experience in Kandy and a grueling 10-hour drive, we arrived at this incredible haven, where we were warmly welcomed by Inoka at the gate. She went above and beyond, even helping us maneuver our little tuk-tuk up the driveway. The dinner she prepared was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was unmatched. This place, and its wonderful owner, truly became one of the highlights of our journey through Sri Lanka. The breakfast? Simply out of this world! This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in recently. We were warmly welcomed with a traditional drum & song routine performed by the wonderful staff. The room was so comfortable, had everything we needed and a full mini bar included in the rate. The hotel facilities were great and absolutely spotless. The food was exceptional and the service outstanding. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends & family.

The property is beautiful and well maintained surrounded by amazing wildlife with some of the best views in Kandy. The place is also a peaceful retreat from the bustle of Kandy town but not too far away from anything. The staff are all amazing and went out of their way to help us which made us feel like staying with family ….we can’t wait to return again and stay at this magical place. Thanks to Joel and his team we miss you already!
