Enjoying views of Tissa Lake from all its modern rooms, The Safari is located in Tissamaharama. A 20-minute drive from Yala National Park, it has an outdoor pool with lake view and free Wi-Fi. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it! The location is fantastic, right on the lake bank, surrounded by beautiful nature and offering stunning views, especially at sunset. The pool area is also lovely, with amazing scenery all around. The food was – generous buffets with plenty of delicious options, and the opportunity to enjoy a barbecue with tables set right by the lake made the experience even more special. A big thank you to the staff, especially Sachini at reception, who was both professional and incredibly kind, making us feel welcome from the very beginning. The room had a nice view, with strong water pressure (a rare luxury in Sri Lanka), good ac. The hotel is organisibg safaris and even preparing packed meals to take away (optional) Overall, this hotel combines comfort, natural beauty, excellent service, and thoughtful details to create a truly memorable stay.
